Working Principle
The grinding rollers of the vertical coal mill are driven by a rotating grinding disc to perform the grinding operation. The material entering the mill falls onto the grinding disc through the central coal drop pipe, and the centrifugal force generated by the rotating grinding disc transports it to the grinding roller track for grinding. The grinding pressure is generated by springs or a hydraulic pressurization device. Drying of the coal powder is achieved using hot air drawn from the rotary kiln system. The hot air is evenly distributed around the grinding disc through nozzle rings, drying the ground material and conveying it to the separator at the top of the mill. Here, the coarse and fine powders are separated; the fine powder is discharged from the mill, while the coarse powder is returned to the mill for further grinding. The coal mill mainly consists of a foundation, reducer, lower frame, middle frame, grinding disc, grinding rollers, pressurizing device, separator, positive pressure air sealing device, steam purging device, and other components. It is also equipped with auxiliary equipment such as a main motor, lubrication oil station, hydraulic station, and sealing fan. Additional accessories include a slow-speed transmission device, special tools for installation and maintenance, ladder platform, pulverized coal distributor, and quick-closing valve for users to choose from.
