Process Flow

Working Principle

The vertical mill is based on the main principle of material layer grinding. The grinding disc is driven by a motor to rotate at a constant speed, and the material forms a stable material layer on the grinding disc. The grinding roller applies high pressure to the material layer under the action of the hydraulic system, and achieves material crushing through squeezing and shearing. At the same time, hot air enters from the circular air duct at the bottom of the grinding disc, which blows up the fine particles after grinding and completes material drying (can handle clinker with moisture content ≤ 8%). The built-in powder selector adopts the principle of eddy current classification, and controls the fineness of the finished product by adjusting the blade angle (usually 45 μ m sieve residue ≤ 10%), achieving an integrated operation of "grinding-classification-drying" without the need for additional drying equipment.

Industry Applications

High efficiency and energy saving:

The grinding efficiency of the material layer is much higher than that of the impact grinding of the ball mill, and the power consumption per unit product is only 60% -70% of that of the ball mill. The annual energy saving of a single production line can reach millions of kWh.

Compact process:

integrating grinding, grading, and drying functions, the equipment occupies only 50% -60% of the ball mill system, reducing civil engineering investment by more than 30%.

Excellent quality of finished products:

Irregular particles with high sphericity in particle shape, reasonable gradation, easy to control of specific surface area (300-450m ²/kg), conducive to cement hydration reaction and improving concrete strength.

Stable operation:

There is no direct metal contact between the grinding roller and the grinding disc, resulting in minimal wear and low failure rate. The continuous operation time is long, and the maintenance cost is only 50% -60% of that of the ball mill.

Environmental friendliness:

The closed loop system has no dust overflow, and the noise level is below 85dB, which meets environmental standards.
